#Sigh Final thought of the day: So many half-baked or simply broken things due to a complete lack of understanding on how to properly solve for the actual problem users are really having. TIP: Not everything a "Unicorn" (aka Top 7 tech company) produces is shinny and good. In many cases, they produce a solid turd sprinkled with a gold dust veneer. Small is the pedestal on which they are perched, especially when you, the user/developer, are inflight trying to go somewhere. You quickly realize, there is nothing "special" about any of them. They poop just like everyone else. Don't be so eager to want to copy and use everything they do just because they are doing it. You are not missing out. In fact, you might be avoiding a complete disaster. The only real difference between you and them is, they have a bigger budget and can sustain a major loss. Can you? Remember... most (not all) earn a majority of their revenue from complete shit means: #advertising or #customer-impulse-buying. You know who they are! I am not impressed.
