More than three months have passed since I joined Callstack as the person responsible for partnerships. Not gonna lie - creating a partner channel from the ground up is always challenging, but it reminded me of the three key factors of a successful partner channel: 1. It cannot be a department strategy; it has to be part of the company strategy, with a common buy-in of the whole concept throughout the organization and this is something that we as the company understand VERY well. Hence, we see the first small successes. Callstack knows the value of partnerships and how much a proper partnership can give something back in exchange! 2. Relationships are key, and every single partnership relies on having those in place. It's about understanding each other's business while keeping in mind that business is conducted with human beings. 3. Everybody knows that the goal of partnerships is to bring additional revenue, and it always has to be a two-way street. If you want to build a successful partnership, you have to be willing to invest in your partners. Investments can be understood in various ways, but they always pay off. #partnerships #partnerchannel #callstack
