This week's word is: Agility My thought this week was spurred along when I was listening to a podcast about #AI. Of course I was listening to another podcast... It made me think a lot about how the #marketing and the web as a whole are changing and will continue to change over the next few years. I thought back to a video I filmed a month or two ago where I talked about one of the most important tools in AI: experimentation. But today, I thought a bit differently. No, I'm not doubting that experimentation and wonder are still key parts of implementing AI, but I also thought about what won't change. Or perhaps I should say, what will stay consistent. I think there's another key tool in this AI-crazed digital world: the ability to pinpoint themes that will stay consistent. Think about it, in this sea of change wouldn't being able to pin down 2-3 things that will stay consistent be a huge advantage? After all, you're not starting from scratch then. So, what do I mean? Well, think about it this way. In recent years, there's been a move away from the sell, sell, sell ad nauseam towards more of the human side of business. Towards more of the human connection. Is that going to go away in the age of AI? Likely not. So, if you haven't already, what if you shifted your marketing to focus not only on the benefits of your brand, but also the people who make it up. Regardless of if it's a traditional search engine or an AI-infused search engine, won't users still care about who? So that's my thought, let's try to pin down 2-3 foundational themes that should stay consistent. You can build a business plan off of that. #AdaptToChange #MarketingStrategy

It's day 2 of #Inbound, and I feel like my brain is leaking out of my ears! 😂 Here are a few big takeaways so far. 1. Be practical. Always choose the shoes for the occasion! 👠 (note to future self 😒 ) 2. Give Otter.ai a try. I used it to record all of my sessions and provide summaries/key takeaways and action items for when I returned to real life. 3. Anyone heard of AI? 🙋♀️ Well, get ready for "agents"! I'll share more on this later, but it's software that uses AI and tools to accomplish a goal that requires multiple steps. 4. Deploying AI with a five-step framework starts with providing AI with what good looks like. Start creating a library of your favorites from press releases, podcasts, etc. 5. What's the biggest reason people fail to deploy AI? They aren't clear on the work they have to do to start with. 👉 Start by writing out your tasks and then identifying what human-led vs. AI is. Get ready for lots more practical tips and tricks! I'll be tracking and documenting my process of rolling out these best practices for you guys. #b2bmarketing #hubspot #marketing
