First time at Staffing Industry Analysts healthcare and very unique conference. I met so many people of different backgrounds small and large in the healthcare workforce industry, but people who also are rapidly scaling their unique workforce startups like Anthony Scarpone-Lambert, BSN, RN with Adni. Great conversations and good people looking to help. It was also very eye opening to see folks say from traditional staffing companies with heavy travel contract models - that they are all seeing “usage stabilize or increase” or saying that they have a “platform”. It seems to not match what health systems are saying, so there is a misalignment somewhere lost in translation and/or definitions of value or marketing. ShiftMed has defined the health system workforce technology platform space and helps healthcare systems create their workforce ecosystem with their own internal capability plus direct per-diem on demand across many skill types while prioritizing your health employees first to lower overall costs.
