Thanks to Allah, Another paper has been published in an ISI-indexed journal, Q1, entitled: Zingiber officinale Uncovered: Integrating Experimental and Computational Approaches to Antibacterial and Phytochemical Profiling Highlights: 1. The Sudanese Zingiber officinale (ginger rhizome) demonstrated varying degrees of antimicrobial activity. 2. Phytochemical screening confirmed the presence of saponins, flavonoids, glycosides, alkaloids, steroids, and terpenoids, with tannins notably absent. 3. GC-MS analysis identified 22 distinct chemical compounds. 4. Molecular docking studies revealed strong binding of ginger compounds to PDB codes 1JIJ and 2QZW, with high affinities reaching −9.5 kcal/mol, aligning with their pharmacokinetic and experimental antibacterial properties.
