“internal auditors must be change agents, enhancing the general ethical culture of the organization.”, Chauke Deroul. Agree to the above! I’m also of the view that internal auditors can be of great value adds when we are “proactive change agents”. To be such consistently, we need to have “tools” to sustain our ethics in action particularly in challenging moments. Reading this article reminded me of #AdamGrant’s sharing in his latest’a Hidden Potential on the importance to nurture our character skills that we can still perform at our highest potential with the appropriate decision making when we face ethical dilemmas and under pressure.
