Thomas Edison, the storied inventor and businessman, once worked at P&G! #PGHeritage In 1865, James N. Gamble hired a young Edison as a mechanic. During his time, Edison advised Gamble to invest in a dedicated telegraph line to connect P&G's Main Office to its plant two miles away. Up to that point, P&G used couriers to shuttle orders back and forth.
