Integrating enterprise systems with regulatory bodies is hard. Complex internal infrastructures like SAP and other #ERPs lack default solutions to handle dynamic government regulations, forcing enterprises to deal with long, costly development processes.
We work with enterprises and are always looking to prove the power of our technology in the most complex situations.
This is one scenario where PROCESIO makes all the difference:
1️⃣ The enterprise problem
Siemens Healthineers, a global enterprise, needed to integrate its invoicing system with a government regulatory body in a European country. Without this integration, they couldn't receive payments, suspending their business.
2️⃣ The options
→ Direct integration via #SAP - this would take six months, far beyond their critical timeline.
→ #Excel export - this method would still require three months of internal IT procedure, and that was too slow to prevent significant business risk.
3️⃣ The PROCESIO Solution
→ Interception via email - we proposed using a generic email address. When the company sent invoices to the government body, they added PROCESIO’s email in BCC.
→ Data extraction and transformation - #PROCESIO intercepted the invoices, extracted the required data from PDFs, and converted it into the XML format mandated by the regulatory body.
→ Fast integration - the processed data was sent directly to the government system, bypassing internal IT roadblocks.
4️⃣ Siemens Healthineers benefits
→ This approach avoided lengthy internal procedures and delivered a solution within weeks, not months.
→ The implementation costs were significantly reduced compared to traditional integration.
→ The solution ensured uninterrupted cash flow and enabled compliance with government regulations fast.
Thank you, Siemens Healthineers, for your trust and for the opportunity to working together and building this scalable and flexible automation solution for your company.
The name of the company is called Ziman Selenius and it was known fact that like two years ago. There was a huge problem with this government integration. Usually inside the let's say provisions or countries, there are softwares, invoicing softwares more targeted towards SMBs that are that are having direct integration with those regulatory bodies. But when you're speaking to enterprise systems, enterprise companies with enterprise systems. They have complex internal systems like SAP and other systems that do not have by default integration with the region or country regulatory body. And they need to build that integration and they have two options. They need to build it by writing code and employ, let's say an SAP partner or provider to develop that and will take like 6 or 12 months, but they cannot do that. Because the regulatory body states that let's say in one or two or three months, they need to be fully integrated. And here is where the technology like procession comes into place. And it is like natural for the processor and us as a company or our implementation partner to develop this type of integration quite fast. So we've been experienced developing time like 3 weeks or from three to six weeks. To develop a custom invoice integration and in some context even like one week integration, but that's contextual usually. My perspective, an implementation process on this type of integration should have at least three phases, at least on analysis phase and development phase and the testing and go live test and of course both go live Hypercard and so forth. But we still simplify it from a complex social development approach. We adapted to a quick development process like four to six week. But of course the pricing is an important aspect nowadays with the current economic situation and it is way much cheaper approaching with the technology like process. Yeah, but I want to go back to what you are saying. There is not something default in SAP or the other complex system. I must say that sometimes there is something they might have like an integration approach, but the the situation inside the enterprise companies, every time it's contextual and adapt it to their context of course. And a default something that the software has will not work. That is and here is where the solution like processional. It's one of the best approaches. Of course, what I'm saying right now can also be developed and delivered with classic software development, but that will take way much more at a time and it will cost much more, like 3 or five times longer as a time span. I can also provide an example where we couldn't connect to ASAP, so we have a big actually global company that needed to integrate. In European country with the regulatory body on invoice to be paid by the, let's say government bodies. So it was like a B2G's business and they were like in a business freeze because they couldn't. Couldn't be paid because they couldn't integrate the invoices with dad regulatory body and we asked them what do you have? Can we connect to your RSVP? No, you cannot. It will take like six months to provide the connection. What else do you have? Can you provide an Excel export? They say yes, we can, but it will take three months and that will be too late for us. We might have a really huge business problem. And we came with an idea. To simplify this and to not take them to do all their the internal IT procedure and so forth. We told them, hey, let's have a generic e-mail address. And when you are sending the invoice to your whatever the government body to to be paid others in BC with that address, yours or ours, it doesn't matter and we just intercepted that invoice to the their normal flow. Uh, take that information we process, you extracted the data out of that PDF, process that data to the whatever XML needed by the regulatory body and send it to the system, to the government system. And it was a quick way that solved the really huge business problem. And this is just an example for you to understand the flexibility and the robustness and the power of processor.
