You never realize why old IT services companies had deterrent mechanisms for notice period until you run a tech startup in India and realize how many people tend to disrespect notice periods if you are not a big company.

They're not #tech product companies, and they're not commodity staff augmentation companies: emerging tech services companies are a different beast altogether. This means their journey to maturity also looks different. They can't be all #body, a pair of hands to order around. They also can't be all #mind, a sage in an ivory tower. At Vixul, we believe the secret to #success as an emerging tech services company rests in figuring out Mind-Body #Dualism For A Tech Services Startup: https://hubs.li/Q02z1scD0

Having worked as an engineer in numerous startups myself and collaborated with over a hundred as a technical leader, I've had the privilege of observing patterns of both success and failure across the board. Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing some of the prominent patterns of success and failure that I've encountered. Tech startup failure #1: Underfunded I have yet to encounter a startup that was overfunded at the seed or pre-seed stage. Most ideas never get a fair chance to achieve product-market fit because they lack the necessary fuel and horsepower to bring a proper minimum viable product (MVP) to market. Remember, a rocket ship that is only 90% fueled will inevitably result in catastrophic failure every time.

#"How to detect betrayals and spot them in your Startup teams early on; always create conditional wealth, meaning, don't give anything for free to anyone in your company, create a mechanism to charge it on other individuals within your company (rewards based on principle of 1, not unconditional, if sum exceeds total, that is where betrayal is hidden, yes, in too good to br true cases); if one employee makes error, their colleagues should see how he/she pays the price and if any company fails to do it, they should be programmed to lose revenue! Keep opposite cards in unknown places/instances where betrayals could be easily detected! Yes, good Startup Founders already have developed a strong sense of detecting betrayals, just like sharks detect blood and find their prey!" #OrangeX #lessons

Startups, let’s address this new trend! Why has the “INR Million” concept taken over? We have a clear numbering system, so why complicate it? Calling 23 crores or USD 2.7 million is straightforward, but saying “230 million INR” feels confusing and even manipulative. Are we just trying to impress or create clarity? Crores and lakhs are deeply understood by Indian audiences and million dollars is something understood worldwide– why switch to something that clouds understanding? Founders, what’s the rationale behind this shift? Let’s bring back transparency and communicate numbers in ways that make sense!

Here’s a common myth about a technology I work with that I want to clarify: -> Not wanting to solve a problem you desperately want to because- you don’t know how to code. You have couple of options - No code (obviously) - Find a partner who can work with you - No code down challenges - > learning curve - finding a partner challenge -> you should vibe with them, know how to code, have patience to build, iterate based on feedback Ofcourse you can’t just go with the idea to someone and ask to be a partner - you need to show equally good complimentary skills, but possible I built my first product getting help with friends to build (and the product came out decent) What’s a myth you like to burst about tech in Startups ? #TechWrapIndia #LinkedInNewsIndia

To launch a tech startup, you need 90% emotions and 5% logic.the other 5 % is timing and luck. (You need to care so much about the problem & to know that you are the one to pull it off-and if not you, then who?). However, to scale one,you need 95%logic,5%emotions ..ie(here's where you put your emotions aside and look at the data + hire smarter people to help you take it to the next level. Here's what am learning..starting a tech company is one thing..scaling one is a totally different ball game. This is one of the most amazing journeys I have experienced in my life so far.

**"They are just developers"** & we need ! Last week, a promising startup reached out to us. Their initial request was simple: *"We need Help."* Things seemed to be progressing well, but soon after, the client shared a concern. *"The project is moving... but something feels off."* I asked them, *"What's the issue?"* Their response was telling: *"They are just developers."* That sentence stuck with me. It wasn’t about the skill set, because technically, the developers were doing everything right. The problem was bigger: *vision and ownership.* When you're building something new —something disruptive— you don’t just need developers to write code. You need partners who understand your vision, challenge your ideas, and guide your strategy. A team that’s invested in the success of your product, not just completing their tasks. . you don’t need "just developers." You need partners. #softwaredevelopment #team #startup #tech #partners
