Amazon just rolled out a new kind of ad called Sponsored Cinema Ads. 📽️ Remember when they launched ads on TV? Well, they've decided not to wait any longer and brought something even cooler to the table. Here's the gist from Amazon themselves: "After seeing how well our Sponsored TV ads worked, we thought, why not bring something even bigger to our partners? So, here we are with Sponsored Cinema Ads. These aren't just any ads. They're for folks who love watching movies the old-fashioned way - in theaters. Plus, it's a chance to catch people when they're really paying attention, not just half-watching with one eye on their phone." What you need to know: -Ads have QR codes. Scan them with your phone in the theater and boom, you're checking out products before the movie even starts. -You can choose when your ad shows up: before the movie starts, in the middle, or even after it ends for the real movie buffs. -Want your ad right before the movie? That'll cost more, starting at $20 per 1000 views. -Amazon's trying out something new with sound. They'll use noises from the theater (like laughing or popcorn munching) to give advertisers better feedback. But for now, it's just a test in a few places. -Your ad has to be super sharp, at least 8k resolution. And there's no limit on how much you can spend. #amazonadvertising #amazonfba #sponsoredcinemaads

More ads... are we surprised? I haven't heard it mentioned much - one thing Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios has done differently on the ad front is putting all of the ads BEFORE the programming. The clunky ads inserted into a movie right in the middle of a pivotal scene is enough for me to just cancel the service, not pay a higher subscription fee to not see ads. Here's to hoping they keep the ads at the beginning of the content... 🤞 #streaming #streamingvideo #ott #advertising

A new report finds Amazon's Prime Video ads are having early success with advertisers. The ecommerce giant rattled the streaming world in January by launching ads on Prime Video content. While many customers expressed frustration, the change was good news for advertisers. Until then, there was no way for brands to directly target Amazon’s massive customer base while streaming Prime Video content. Fast forward three months, and some of the top TV ad buyers in the U.S. are seeing early success. The timing is good for Prime Video Ads, which will be a part of TV Week – the advertising selling season for fall programming. Amazon is reportedly increasing its Prime Video sales team as it courts advertisers for year-long commitments. Prime Video currently accounts for 2.8% of all TV viewing in the U.S., according to Nielsen data for March. #ChannelKeyLLC #AmazonAgency #AmazonNews #Amazon #PrimeVideo #PrimeVideoAds #Ecommerce https://zurl.co/VYhr
