Blown away by the energy in the room at my first ever 'People, Planet, Pastel de Nata event' at Heden Rossio Co-working last night! For anyone passionate about sustainability in business, this is a must-do. It's a fantastic opportunity to listen to epic guest speakers, connect, share ideas, and discover others making an impact in business. Because it all adds up! A couple of takeaways: - We need to find ways to make sustainability easier to measure, regulate, and report (you can't manage what you don't measure) - Find ways to make sustainability transformation easier for businesses to adopt (financial incentives, less siloed team structures) - And create a motivational shift in the narrative towards positive-focused outcomes, as data shows businesses are more responsive to this.
