You don't need a lot of clients. Experts who sell premium services (or even products) don’t need a lot of clients. - They need fewer clients. - They need to build higher trust with their prospects. This completely changes how we play the content game. We don’t need to play the 'Justin Welsh' game of publishing generic content, hacking the algorithm, using fancy hooks, and getting more people into the funnel. The success of this funnel is determined by the sheer volume of people you reach. But we don’t want volume. We cannot get away with mediocre trust. It makes more sense to play a different game where you publish nuanced content on social media. This content may not necessarily reach a ton of people, but with whoever it does reach, it creates a deeper relationship. This leads to more conversations through DMs and meaningful comments... the kind of resonance we seek. It’s crucial to align our content game with the business.

Are you investing your energy into becoming the 2nd best version of your competitor / market leader / content hero OR the best version of yourself? Ouch! Hiding behind frameworks and courses and how best to post for blah blah blah I realised I'm literally doing the opposite of what I believe and what I ask for our own clients to do: Get to the core of who they uniquely are. #Terroir. Then find and lead their customers/consumers who have the same problem they can solve, same belief, same hopes & dreams Yes we do Media Buying, yes it has a focus on Performance - however our belief has always been on getting to the core of our clients and their customers. It's never been about hacking growth or performance at expense of the brand. This doesn't mean competitor research isn't important and I'll write a scheduled post now for tomorrow on a 5 minute exercise using free tools that can massively help you.
