🎮 Black Myth Wukong: A Flawed Gem That Keeps Drawing Me Back In 🐒 Black Myth Wukong has quite a few flaws that should leave me frustrated. It has so many invisible walls in places that you would think you can explore, it has bosses with really inconsistent hitboxes (Hundred Eye Daoist), any animal boss keeps running away and the battle becomes you just chasing them, a story that is difficult to follow and frequent frame rate drops and I had at least 3 crashes. But at the same time, I find that I can't stop thinking about it and playing it. The team at Game Science has done a fantastic job. The combat is flawless and quite addictive. The different power-ups all serve a unique purpose and can change depending on your playstyle. It really made me want to explore every nook and cranny of the map to see what I had missed and what new things I could get. For me the main thing is that Game Science truly nailed their core loop and art style. The map is gorgeous and as mentioned, combat is addictive. Every boss you beat makes you feel like you've gained something and grown in your skills. I am currently on my second playthrough, aiming to collect all 36 trophies on PSN (32 down, 4 to go! 💪). Black Myth Wukong may not be perfect, but it's a testament to the developers' skill and vision. Final verdict: 9/10! 🌟 Can't wait to see what Game Science has in store for us next! 🙌

I just translated and published my first book! Recently, with the explosion in popularity of the game Black Myth: Wukong, many players have rekindled their interest in the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. The game’s stunning visuals and thrilling battles have sparked curiosity about the original tales of Sun Wukong and his epic confrontations with various monsters. I selected 25 of the most exciting stories from the original novel, told in simple and accessible English, and focused on the characters appearing in Black Myth: Wukong. These stories offer readers a glimpse into the legendary adventures that inspired the game. You can think of these stories as the “prequel” to the game, or as the foundation from which the game’s plot and characters are drawn. #society This is my WORDLE today. The word is VAPID. Meaning vacuous. Vapid is used as a put down of others by the knowing. When will they know that emptiness is all there is remaining to know, which is everything? I like customized WORDLE. It feels like The New York Times is playing not only word games but mind games with me. What was your word? The easiest thing for you is to get real from playing virtual games to preserve plausible deniability. I am not denying you. Why are you denying me? Get to know me. You will discover that emptiness can be beautiful. When you know you do not know, then you are beginning to learn. Until then you have not learned anything no matter the degrees and diplomas, even if one of those is The Nobel Prize, adorning your wall. I keep my walls as beautiful as the emptiness, unadorned. Is my democratic dismantling of the national icons in the virtual public square who are but fluff created by you offensive? Should I render a Socratic apology to the credentialed and learned or did you fail to comprehend that this is exactly what I have been doing for many years now? You just might get your wish and its consequence can finally be civilization after all these years of human history. We will have become human.

The polish and technical execution are truly impressive. 🤩 🙉 Inspired by what I’ve seen, I’m excited to challenge myself by recreating aspects of the game using 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, and 𝗖#. I'll start with the perfect dodge displayed in the attached YouTube video. ▶ 🙈📝 This won't be easy. However, I see this as an opportunity to sharpen my game development skills, from 𝟯𝗗 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 to 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. The Fascinating World of Dominoes: A Journey from Etymology to Arithmetic Have you ever paused to consider the origins and mathematical elegance of the humble domino? Let's delve into the intriguing world of the double-six domino set, a classic game that combines strategy, luck, and a bit of numerical beauty. The Origin of "Domino" The word "domino" has a storied history, tracing back to the Latin "dominus," meaning "master" or "lord." However, its journey to the game we know today is believed to have taken a detour through medieval France. Here, "domino" referred to a black and white hood worn by Christian priests in winter, which might have inspired the game's name due to the tiles' traditional black and white coloring. Fascinating, isn't it? A Game of Numbers A standard double-six domino set contains 28 tiles, each marked with a combination of dots ranging from 0 (blank) to 6. This range is where the arithmetic magic begins. Each value from 0 through 6 appears exactly 8 times across the faces of the tiles. Why? Because each tile is unique, combining each number with itself and every other number exactly once. The Sum of a Series Diving deeper into the numbers, the sum of the series from 0 to 6 is 21. This sequence (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) adds up to a neat total, reflecting the simple yet elegant arithmetic underpinning the game. The Grand Total So, what's the sum of the values on all tiles in a double-six domino set? Given that each value from 0 to 6 appears 8 times, and the sum of these values is 21, the total sum of all the dots in the set is eight times 21, which equals 168. This number encapsulates the mathematical beauty of dominoes, blending the game's historical roots with its enduring appeal as a pastime that challenges both the mind and the spirit. Dominoes, a game enjoyed worldwide, is more than just a pastime; it's a bridge between cultures, a catalyst for social interaction, and a testament to the timeless allure of numbers and strategy. So, the next time you lay down a tile, remember the rich history and the fascinating arithmetic that makes dominoes a game for the ages. #Dominoes #Mathematics #History #Games #Strategy
