𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗦 & 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗟𝗘𝗦. When I coach clients, my goal isn't to show them how many great tools, frameworks, methodologies and trainings I know. I don’t evaluate the success of this work by proving there has been an earth-shattering transformation in every session. Instead, I focus on being the “Banks to the River” of each client, guiding them through a journey of excavating their holistic inner world with their true “Self Leadership” through 3 simple but powerful changes. These small, incremental movements are what create the shifts and perspective changes along the way that allows them to step into the fully integrated and embodied version of themselves as Conscious Leaders. Each session I guide them towards: 💡One new insight 💡One new distinction 💡One new use of vocabulary These smaller shifts in perspective, awareness, and communication can often elevate and move individuals from point A to point B more effectively than many complex models and frameworks. It's the subtle changes that often have the most profound impact on personal and professional growth. Executive Coaching isn't about "telling" someone what to do because the Coach knows better. It's helping people come home to themselves! The results are: • It’s insight-focused, not time-focused. Life can change in an instant, after a powerful insight… • It’s impact-focused, not solution-focused. Do you believe that professional services should be free just because you know the provider? Post Content: Today, I had a surprising experience. I offered a former classmate the opportunity to join a leadership and executive presence development program. When they asked about the cost, I kindly provided a brochure detailing the program and its fees. They proposed to have a meeting to discuss it further and charge me for their time. While I understand the fee associated with their time, as this was for their development, I declined the meeting. What I learned from this experience is that many people now expect everything to be free. We've built a culture where learning and development are often undervalued. Friends and acquaintances sometimes expect free services simply because of the personal connection, not understanding that professional expertise has a cost. As coaches, we often provide free tips and advice, both consciously and unconsciously. However, our expertise is valuable, and it’s important to recognize that knowing someone doesn’t entitle you to free services. This experience taught me that not everyone understands the value of professional development, and it’s crucial to set boundaries. I realized that this person might not be someone I want in my circle, and I’m a bit disappointed by their behavior.
