We had a great session today with Zoe Yu Tung Law co-founder and CEO of New Wave Biotech Many thanks to Zoe for being so open and honest about the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur and starting a family. What did we learn? 💪 Do what you believe in as that's what will carry you through the tough times. 👩💻 You don't need to be a technical expert to start an amazing company - you need to define the challenge and then find the right people with the right expertise to help you get there. 🤱 Babies are very good for honing time management skills. 👶 Being prepared is the only way forward in motherhood - and always prepare for the unexpected. 👯 Work hard to build a supportive network around you AND also around those that love and support you. 🙋♀️ Some VCs need to stop being prejudiced about female founders having kids. Get real folks. Life happens. 😇 And don't beat up on yourselves ladies. Being good enough is sometimes just good enough.
