Ever wondered what real ice driving is like? Right now, our test engineers can be found drifting, sliding, and opposite-locking their way around our test-track in Jokkmokk, way up in the Arctic circle. It’s mighty cold up there, but compensation comes in the form of a winter wonderland few get to experience. Until now. Join our crew, driving experts, and Polestar hosts by booking your place on the truly memorable Polestar Arctic driving experience here: https://lnkd.in/dWRPKvY5 #PolestarCars #PolestarExperiences
You have put candles and a lighter in all of those cars right? If not consider doing so, because if you get stuck in the snow, two small candles (“värmeljus”) can stop you from freezing to death. And if anyone who lives in a colder climate reads this, put a pack of candles and a lighter in your car during the winter months, just in case.
stunning how the minimalistic design blends into the landscape ✨😍
That's right, Polestar is on very thin ice and could easily break if there is no information about what the future will look like. You can post nice car pictures, but what happens next?

6dOverall, it was a fantastic experience filled with fun and happy moments. However, the main challenge lies in the reduced efficiency of the batteries during extreme cold weather, which significantly impacts the main battery's performance. It can be quite frustrating to witness the noticeable drop in range and the increase in energy consumption under such conditions, which sometimes is our day to day basis (not sliding in ice but driving to work :) ).
