This was the view from the delivery hall at my local #Polestar handover centre this week. Polestar 3's standing in line ready for delivery. Apparently several had already been delivered by the time I arrived at 09.30. It's a wonderful sight, and it made me feel more determined than ever. We cannot loose confidence in #electrification. We cannot go backwards and use #hybrid powertrains in the same vehicle when neither the ICE or battery power source is actually performing at its best. It's not the answer. We only evolve #technology by moving forward. Electrification is undeniably the future of one of the most celebrated of human creations: the motor car. Keep looking forward and, if you can, do your bit to maintain the momentum of #electrification. For all our sakes.

It's World EV Day. The fifth of its kind since 2020 when it was founded by Ade Thomas (Bravo!). It's as much about #drivingchange in decarbonisation, as it is about accelerating the shift to #electricmobility and celebrating the journey so far. Of course, there's a long way to go and they'll be many more twists and turns along the way. But it's incredible how the #etechnology is evolving. The science, the #innovation, and the determination to stick with #emobility is inspiring. There are so many clever people doing so much for the EV movement. At least, that's how I see it. Last week my #Polestar 2 ticked past the 100,000 km mark. "What's so significant about a leggy Polestar 2 you might ask?" Well, it means it's more than worked off its carbon footprint based on charging from an EU energy mix throughout its life*. Everything beyond 'break even' is a good thing.
