Aggregation of time series metrics from cloud batch processes can be difficult due to their ephemeral nature. Take for example GCP CloudRun and Fucntions or AWS Lambdas. Systems such as Prometheus can't scrape their endpoints and a system like Prometheus Pushgateway is too limited in its use cases. That's why I created the metrics accumulator to collect such metrics for Prometheus ingestion. #Prometheus #Monitoring #SRE
