Gratitude and Growth This Thanksgiving Season As Thanksgiving approaches, I can’t help but reflect on how much can change in just a few years. Life has thrown its challenges my way, but it’s also given me incredible opportunities to rebuild, reimagine, and refocus. This season, I’m thankful for the journey — the highs, the lows, and everything in between. I’ve learned that growth often comes when you least expect it and that building something meaningful is never a solo act. From launching Distinguished Enterprise to collaborating with incredible clients and creating brands like Distinguished Content, Distinguished Publications, and Distinguished Management, I’m reminded daily that this isn’t just about business — it’s about impact. It’s about helping others tell their stories, build their dreams, and create lasting change in their communities. This Thanksgiving, I’m filled with gratitude for: • The people who believed in me. • The clients and team members who inspire me every day. • The chance to do work that feels purposeful and aligned with what matters most. As we gather with loved ones (and enjoy some much-needed turkey and carbs), let’s not forget the power of giving. Whether it’s giving back to our communities, lifting someone else up, or simply expressing gratitude to those who’ve shaped our paths — it all makes a difference. Wishing you all a Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and growth. Here’s to building futures that we can all be proud of.

Thanksgiving: More Than a Holiday? Today, as we gather around the table, let’s take a moment to reflect on what Thanksgiving truly represents. Thanksgiving isn’t just about sharing a meal; it’s about sharing gratitude. 🙂 It’s a reminder to pause, appreciate what we have, and acknowledge those who have supported us—whether it’s our families, colleagues, clients, or communities. In a world moving faster than ever, Thanksgiving teaches us to: - Say "thank you" more often, not just today but every day. - Recognize the power of relationships in both personal and professional life. - Be grateful not only for success but also for challenges that shape us. At VisNext, we’re grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the people who make every step meaningful. 💡 This Thanksgiving, let’s carry this mindset forward—beyond the holiday, Wishing you all a warm, joyful, and reflective Thanksgiving. Let’s continue to grow, together. Bon appétit! 🦃🍂 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Growth #Connections #VisNext

A Different Kind of Thankful Thanksgiving is here, and most of us are thinking about what we’re grateful for—family, friends, health, good food. Those are the easy ones, right? But lately, I’ve been reflecting on the not-so-obvious things we might not immediately feel thankful for. You know, the hard stuff: stressful workdays, tough conversations, or plans that didn’t go the way we wanted. Here’s the thing: those moments shape us just as much (if not more) than the easy ones. They refine us, challenge us, and—if we let them—grow us into stronger, wiser, and more compassionate people. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we’re encouraged to “Give thanks in all circumstances.” Not just when life feels great, but in all of it. It’s a reminder that even the messy, uncomfortable parts of life can have a purpose. Gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring the hard stuff; it’s about trusting that there’s growth, wisdom, or blessing hidden somewhere in it. And when you shift your perspective, it’s amazing how challenges become opportunities and setbacks feel less overwhelming. So this Thanksgiving, I’m reminding myself to give thanks for all of it—the joys, the struggles, and even the things I don’t fully understand yet. What’s something unexpected that you’re thankful for this year? Wishing you a season filled with gratitude, growth, and maybe a new way of seeing your blessings. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Perspective #ThankfulInAllThings

Thanksgiving Day 🦃 Gobble, Gobble! A day where gratitude flows freely, and businesses express thanks to employees and customers alike. Yet, as business owners, we often find ourselves in a lonely place, where appreciation can be scarce. So, today, let's shift the spotlight. Don't worry.... This is personal No one is trying to cancel Macy's parade. Let's pause and take a moment to reflect on our journey this year. It's crucial to acknowledge our hard work and accomplishments, even if it feels a bit uncomfortable. Here are three ways to quietly celebrate yourself today: Reflect on Growth → Take a few minutes to jot down your achievements, both big and small. ↳ Did you survive a tough quarter? ↳ Did you reach a new milestone? Remember, growth isn't always about numbers; it's about resilience and adaptability. Treat Yourself → Consider doing something you love today. ↳ Whether it's a walk in the park, a favorite dish, or a good book, indulge in a simple pleasure. This small act of kindness to yourself can recharge your spirit. Plan for Tomorrow → Use this day of gratitude to envision the future. ↳ What are your goals for next year? ↳ What lessons have you learned that can guide you forward? This forwardthinking mindset can inspire motivation and clarity. Thanksgiving isn’t just about giving thanks to others; it’s about appreciating the journey you've taken and the hurdles you've overcome. As a business owner, you wear many hats, and your dedication deserves recognition. So, let’s not forget to give ourselves a pat on the back today. Take a breath, enjoy the little moments, and remember: You're doing great. How do you plan to celebrate your achievements today?

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories was during my freshman year of college. I traveled with my two brothers down to our sister's place in Chicago, where another sister met us. That's right. It was just us 5 siblings, all between the ages 18-26. And it was my first thanksgiving without my parents. We all stayed there for 4 days together. We went to the zoo, we ate leftovers and pie all weekend (7 pies for 5 people is normal right?), we watched movies, and we played games. I don't remember that much about that actual Thanksgiving Day in 2009, only the overall vibes of the whole weekend. We were family. We hung out, spent time together, we bonded, grew new connections, and core memories unlocked. I'm thankful that I had that experience. It was one of the last times I was truly able to spend time with my siblings like that. We went through college, found jobs, established careers, and started our own families. Things change (more on this later this weekend). And though thanksgiving feels different now, I'm thankful for my new life too. I have my own family. I have in-laws who I spend holidays with. I have new stories, start family traditions, try new culinary dishes, and reflect more on gratitude than I did back in 2009. I hope your holiday is a time of forming new core memories, connections and bonds, and growing with others. But if it isn't, that's okay too. Holidays won't always be the same. It's sorta the magic of life. And this year I'm finding myself thankful for change. For the change that was a catalyst for growth in my heart, mind, and soul. For coworkers shifting positions, prompting me to seek more outside of myself. For new family rhythms, forcing me to dial in on what is most important to my life. Change. We can all change. We can all grow. We can all learn. And change is one of the most beautiful experiences to participate in or witness. #thankful #gratitude #lifelonglearning #growthmindset

Gratitude, Appreciation And The Power Of Slowing Down As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s a time to pause and reflect on what we’ve accomplished and the people and moments that have shaped us. This season reminds us of the importance of gratitude. It’s more than saying “thank you.” Gratitude is about truly recognizing the journey — challenges, victories and everything in between. It’s a mindset. When we embrace gratitude and presence, we honor where we’ve been and create space for meaningful connections and joy in the moments ahead. Thanksgiving offers us the chance to slow down and be present. Whether we’re connecting with friends and family or taking a quiet moment for ourselves, this time of year carries a unique opportunity to celebrate what matters most. I encourage you to reflect on what you’ve achieved this year. As we wind down Q4 and head into the holiday season, we can use the reflection of Thanksgiving to finish the year strong. Gratitude can inspire us to bring our best selves to the final stretch, embracing the opportunities that remain and preparing for what’s to come. Wishing you a meaningful and memorable Thanksgiving.

This week, the goal is simple: align your actions with your values. Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be filled with chaos and endless to-do lists. By naming what matters most, ruthlessly prioritizing, and creating space for meaningful moments, you can embrace the season in a way that reduces stress and amplifies joy. What’s one thing you’re saying no to this Thanksgiving to make room for what matters most? 🤔 #DoLessBetter #SimplifyTheHolidays #MindfulThanksgiving #PrioritizeJoy #GratitudeSeason #PresenceOverPerfection #IntentionalLiving #LessButBetter

🍁 It’s Thanksgiving today, and I can’t help but wish we celebrated it here—it’s so up my street. A whole day dedicated to gratitude, connection, and reflecting on what really matters? Yes, please! As small business owners, we often struggle to feel thankful for our journey when the to-do list feels endless and the wins feel small. ✨ You might feel overwhelmed by all the hats you wear. ✨ You might wonder if you’re doing “enough” to move your business forward. ✨ And maybe, just maybe, you’re forgetting to pause and celebrate the incredible progress you’ve already made. So today, I want to remind you of this: 💛 Gratitude is a game-changer. It doesn’t erase the challenges, but it shifts your focus back to what’s going right. Take a moment today to: 🌟 Celebrate every small win, every lesson learned, and every step forward you’ve taken this year. 🌟 Be kind to yourself—because you’re doing more than you give yourself credit for. 🌟 Dream big, but also take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve already come. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, remember this: The most joyful, successful businesses are built on gratitude and alignment—not hustle and perfection. Today, I’m thankful for my fabulous clients and members. For being here, for dreaming big, and for showing up even when it’s hard. Let’s bring a little Thanksgiving spirit into our world today, wherever we are. If you’re ready to build a business (and a life) that feels joyful, aligned, and successful on your terms… keep an eye out tomorrow—I might have something exciting for you 😉
