I ask myself this question very often. The excitement of booking it, the anticipation, the energy during the event, then the post on social media. And on to the next one. So, how can you make the most out of it? The most out of your, time, money, and energy? When you hear the word 'consistency' what do you think of? This image says it all! If you go all out...all the time....eventually... your glass is going to overflow and burn out sets in! It is okay to know and understand that being 'consistent' means keep moving forward at the pace you can! This applies to building a business...any type of business...including network marketing! Sure, you still have to work and some days you can hustle harder than others. The important part is just having something in the glass!! Marketing inertia is wasting time, money, and energy. Just because some wear Christmas jumpers doesn't make them a good sartorial choice. Just because some retailers sell this abomination in the first week of October doesn't make it right. So why do law firms and accountants still do the same promotional activity each year leading to the same results? 🏌♂️ Hosting golf days attended by largely stale, pale and middle-aged males 🍾 Attendance at generic networking events attended by competitors and life coaches, not clients and targets 🗞️ Turgid newsletters which are focussed on internal promotions and events, not clients 🎤 Boring text heavy talks that don't engage the audience There are a multitude of better ways to build visiblity and attract new business, e.g., guesting on third party podcasts, engaging workshops, client sector focussed events, creating video content, 'Do It Yourself' informal and inclusive networking events, human Linkedin blogs, etc. Be human.
