Good chatting with you Philip Forkan from Tonic and thank you Planixs for hosting us on Liquidity talks. Reflecting after the conversation I had these thoughts on our topic: 1) Regulators want liquidity preparedness in situations of winddown, insolvency, and resolution. Understanding "true liquidity" requires a fully integrated view of all cash and collateral of all types. 2) This requires integrated capabilities and tested models and playbooks to ensuring firms can optimise in BAU and withstand stresses. However many firms, lack this and struggle to maintain a reliable view of true liquidity. 3) As tokenisation of collateral and settlement processes evolve, the emphasis on a readily available view of true liquidity becomes even more important.
