Access to education is critical in empowering young women to enter traditionally male-dominated fields like web development. That's why Plan International implemented the Young Tech (Tech Muda II) program in Indonesia to help young women like Tasyah succeed in the IT industry. Participants learn web programming or digital marketing skills, and are also taught leadership and social skills to help them further their careers, with a focus on breaking down gender barriers. Today on National Programmer’s Day, we’re highlighting the remarkable impact STEM education can have for women and girls. After receiving specialized coding training, Tasyah is now working as a web programmer for a social media company. Watch the video to learn more about the impact of learning coding skills for Tasyah! #GirlsinSTEM #WomeninSTEM #GirlsWhoCode #ProgrammersDay

Hi LinkedIn family! I thought of sharing a new language that I accidentally came across while surfing; something that is really fun and made me laugh out loud. This language is called "BhaiLang". I believe almost everyone in the technology space has learnt or tried to learn some or the other programming language. A lot of us gave up on programming and others who figured out is now crying and the rest are entrepreneurs or Millionaires. 🤣 If you know #Hindi and if you are from #mumbai or #maharashtra You will heavily relate to this. This is how you write a simple hello world Program hi bhai bol bhai "Hello World"; bye bhai Lets say you want to assign a value to a variable, this is what you do : hi bhai bhai ye hai a = 10; bhai ye hai b = 10 + (15*20); bhai ye hai c = "two"; bhai ye hai d = 'ok'; bhai ye hai e = nalla; bhai ye hai f = sahi; bhai ye hai g = galat; bye bhai Conditioning is written something like this : hi bhai bhai ye hai a = 10; agar bhai (a < 20) { bol bhai "a is less than 20"; } nahi to bhai ( a < 25 ) { bol bhai "a is less than 25"; } warna bhai { bol bhai "a is greater than or equal to 25"; } bye bhai And Loops; (the main reason for most lot the people who left programming): hi bhai bhai ye hai a = 0; jab tak bhai (a < 10) { a += 1; agar bhai (a == 5) { bol bhai "andar se bol bhai ", a; agla dekh bhai; } agar bhai (a == 6) { bas kar bhai; } bol bhai a; } bol bhai "done"; bye bhai All credits go to : Rishabh Tripathi, Aniket Singh. Go check them out here: https://bhailang.js.org/ I hope I made your day a little more fun ! React to this to share the spread some happiness today. #programmer #programmerhumor #developerlife #developers #technology #bhailang #laughter

iam excited to share some fantastic news: I'm joining iSchool as a Coding Instructor for the amazing DEMI an initiative by the (مبادرة براعم مصر الرقمية) Project Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Egypt. Advice on Learning to Code for those who speak several languages. As a programmer fluent in multiple languages, I've found it incredibly beneficial to learn programming concepts in my mother tongue. While English is a must-have in the tech world, having access to resources in my native language made understanding complex topics much more accessible. I initially did some courses in English which I loved, but then I felt I needed a deeper comprehension and started my studies in Yandex Practicum. I was able to grasp fundamentals and delve into difficult concepts, without language barriers, through relevant examples. This solid foundation allowed me to gradually transition to English-based materials as I progressed. To my fellow multilingual aspiring programmers, I highly recommend: 📘 Start with learning resources (books, videos, tutorials) in your native language to build a strong base. 🌐 Gradually introduce English materials as you advance, practising tech reading and problem-solving in English. Why English? Because all the documentation is written in it, you have plenty of high quality study sources. 💻 Polish your technical communication skills in English for interviews and professional collaborations. The ability to leverage multiple languages is a superpower! Embrace your native tongues for initial learning, but prioritize becoming proficient in English to unlock global opportunities. Share your experiences and thoughts below! 😊 #ProgrammingDiversity #MultilingualProgrammers #TechCareers #LearnToCode #Diversity #Inclusivity
