I recently spoke at the TEDxNITKurukshetra event in front of some of the brightest minds of India. I spoke about how with a singular focus and dogged determination one can overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. I gave examples from my various competition fights where I was able to overcome opponents that were bigger, stronger, faster and even more experience using my singular focus and understanding the 'why'. Why I did I want to compete, why did I want to not give up and why did I continue to train day after day, year after year. I compete because I want to let everyone know that Indians know how to fight and that we are more than just Cricketers. That's my 'why', I want the world to know that India knows Jiu Jitsu and Indians know how to fight. That's the reason why I proudly wear the Indian flag on my arm every time I fight. Everytime I am losing the fight, I go back to my 'why' and I get back up and I fight again.

Jay Shah, certainly, a master minded in terms of generating revenue. This parade, then trophy show casing in Wankhede stadium, thus seeking attention of millions. The agenda is clear that cricket is money making machine in India; Indeed it’s a religion in India. Such propaganda makes sure that the Indian people’s liking or rather i should following of cricket should not lessen by 0.01% I am happy that India won world cup. However, such parade and other stuff is nothing but strategy to keep hype for the cricket intact. Its still not sinked, from 83 (when nobody believed that India even had a chance, nobody even expected) to 24 (when India were clearly the favourites right from the start considering the way we have prepared and played in last few years) it's been quite a journey. Wat a sport! Wat a game! Champions!! Few Lessons I have learnt from this world cup. 1. It's not over till it's actually over. Belief makes everything possible and specially if it comes from a leader. 2. Back your experience, only that helps in difficult times. 3. Dream, They do come true if you consistently work towards it by learning to accept your losses. 4. A little luck is required to achieve dreams. 5. There is no replacement to hard work. Redemption is real. 6. Being humble is tablestakes, life shows you your place if you try to act oversmart. 7. Team work will mostly win against Individual brilliance. 8.
