I am grateful for the Source's coverage of the People Streets Study and the Drake-2-Juniper Pedestrian Corridor case study from the community's 5-year vision plan. These multi-stakeholder conversations are so much more important than this one study (though it's important, it will inform the Transportation System Plan update in the coming years, Hawthrone Bridge connectivity, etc). These conversations have the potential to create trust and open communication channels that will help us address future, larger challenges. Or they can further enforce divides. Will we rise to find a shared vision? Everything is telling me, yes; it's a new day. Let's keep this conversation going, Bend.
