Ever since post-covid, the rates have pushed up to better reflect the work that us in Anim & VFX do. However, the latest rate card is from 2022, and it’s time to update it to properly list wages that take into account the current climate and the last couple of years of inflation. If you work in Anim or VFX in the United Kingdom, I would highly recommend to respond to this survey. This gives the union a better view of what salaries nowadays look like, and it will help us, the workers, to push for more equal and transparent salaries that reflect the work we do. The Animation and VFX UK rate card survey is finally here! https://bit.ly/AVU24 Our industry has experienced significant changes in recent years, and our 2022 rate card no longer accurately represents the current landscape. It needs a much-needed update and you can help us! The rate card ensures that all workers in similar roles receive fair compensation, it helps avoid wage disparities and can be used as a guide for salary negotiations. The survey takes only 2 minutes to complete and it's completely anonymous. The greater the number of responses we get, the more beneficial it will be for everyone. Click the link above!
