Serial offenders will coat the windshield with olive oil and slide it off.

Very dangerous, offenders will just drive off without being able to see through their windshield. Then at least try taking it to a garage or workshop whilst causing a few accidents on the way. Then put laminate over their windscreen as a precaution for next time.

I need a suction pad like that for my dash cam. I only have to look at it for it to fall off my windscreen!.

Could be a good deterrent for car thieves also, ?

Surely as soon as you get the pin and remove it you would drive to the nearest canal and throw it in!
