Be prepared for higher insurance rates and deductibles! 🆙🆙🆙. According to recent statistics, the region from North Carolina to Texas has experienced the second-most recorded tornadoes in history since April 25th. This has resulted in 39 states and 98 million Americans being under severe weather risk this week. When the capital markets that back insurance companies lose money, they raise their rates to reinsurance markets, reinsurance companies raise their rates to insurance, and then insurance companies raise it to us as consumers. As a result, insurance companies are adding or increasing wind hail deductibles, getting off property with older roofs or excluding them altogether, and some are even shutting their doors. It's not a profitable business to be in right now. So, it's advisable to put a little more money back for increase than you did last year. Protect yourself and your property! #insurance #insuracerates #beprepared

Assuming certain risks or items are covered without checking your insurance policy can lead to unexpected financial stress. Insurance policies have specific terms and exclusions that dictate what is and isn’t covered. For instance, you might believe that your home insurance automatically covers flood damage or that your car insurance will cover repairs if you’re at fault in a collision. However, it might not be true. Flood damage and collision coverage are often optional and not included in standard policies—you must add them separately. To avoid costly surprises, always review your policy or consult your insurance broker to ensure you understand your coverage and exclusions. #PrimeServiceFacts #CarInsurance #HomeInsurance #InsuranceBroker #PrimeServiceInsurance

Did you know 🤔 ? - Your insurance company cannot raise your rates when you file a claim due to natural disaster damage. When it comes to insurance claims, many people fear that their rates will automatically rise if they file a claim. While this can be true, there are other factors at play as well. One important factor to consider is the frequency of claims in your area. For instance, if a major natural disaster like a tornado hits your community, causing widespread damage and numerous claims, it could lead to a more significant increase in insurance rates across the board. It's essential to understand that insurance rates are influenced by various elements, not just individual claims. By being aware of the broader picture, you can make more informed decisions when it comes to filing claims and managing your insurance costs. At our company, we strive to provide clarity and support to our customers, ensuring that they are well-informed and empowered to make the best choices for their insurance needs. We are here to deliver the expertise you need while treating you with the care and attention you deserve. #WagnerRoofingAndConstructionSolutions #Trust Wagner #Defiance #Dayton #SaintLouis #RoofInsuranceClaim #TrustTheProcess

Did you know? Your retaining wall might not be covered on your insurance policy. 🧱 Many clients believe their household insurance policy automatically covers their retaining wall, but in reality, cover for retaining walls under the storm, wind, water, hail and snow peril is specifically excluded from most insurance policies. Most insurers will require an engineer’s stability report before they will agree to issue cover for retaining walls. When cover is issued, it is noted separately on the policy documentation with its own insured value and will most certainly be subject to an additional premium. If you’re not sure whether you have cover, contact your RRIB Broker - https://www.rrib.co.za/ #ReidRaetzer #RRIB #ReidRaetzerInsuranceBrokers #RetainingWall #HouseholdInsurance
