And being in the forefront of these initiatives that further promote cybersecurity awareness and education across all the levels of the industry, the Philippine Institute of Cyber Security Professionals (PICSPro) has called upon a multi-sectoral gathering dubbed as PICSPro Stakeholders Meeting at Milky Way, Arnaiz, Makati last June 14. The said activity was attended by the following top leaders hailing from the different private and government agencies who are all keen in establishing a strong foundation of support in making a safer and more resilient Philippine cyberspace: Mr. Pierre Tito Galla, Cybersecurity Lead, USAID’s Better Access and Connectivity (BEACON) Project; Mr. Stephen P. Cutler, Chief Compliance Officer, OmniPay, Inc.; Retired Police Brigadier General Noel Baraceros, Senior Adviser, Office of the Special Envoy on Transnational Crime, Office of the President; and Ms. Zenonida Brosas, Former NAPOLCOM Commissioner and Former DDG, National Security Council. The core group was able to discuss several points of collaboration specifically on the aspects of cybersecurity training and development, community empowerment, industry expansion, and national security initiatives, among others.    With the continuous support of our technology partners, institutional alliances, and fellow cybersecurity allies while employing the concept of the whole of society approach in our line of work, the Philippines will soon become cyber-aware, cyber-educated, and cyber-secured nation as we envision it to be for the future generations. And as we create more avenues of opportunity and partnership that will help educate, elevate, and expand the practice and the discipline of cybersecurity in the country, you can be assured that PICSPro will strongly remain in the frontline of these efforts in making a safer and more resilient Philippine cyberspace. #WeArePICSPro #Cybersecurity #Advocacy #SaferPHCyberspace
