Waiting for a training budget or the perfect-fit course to boost your professional growth? Why wait? During a recent business trip, I used my travel time to dive into the podcast "HR Weekly" (in German) from Katharina Schulze, which is now one of my favorites. Podcasts are a great way to learn anytime, anywhere: they easily fit into my daily routine. 🎧💡📚 "HR Weekly" features HR Professionals sharing insights on topics like Recruiting, Change Management, Leadership, and Strategy. Recent episodes on internal mobility and the cultural dynamics between blue- and white-collar work setups really opened my eyes and provided practical takeaways. I think continuous learning doesn’t need to be complicated - small habits can make a big difference. How do you integrate learning into your routine? I’d love to hear your tips and thanks for this recommendation, Julia Ullmann-Glowacki! #PersonalDevelopment #ContinuousLearning #HumanResources #WeAreDanfoss #DanfossMoment
This is exactly why we just launched our new podcast abcdeHR - so we as hosts but also of course our community can learn something new about HR! Thought I'd share in case you want to give that a listen as well 😊 As for me (I'm not the BIGGEST podcast fan tbh, more of a visual learner), I love short and interactive learning sessions, like GoodHabitz! But now having said that, I realized that my learning calendar block has expired, so thanks for the reminder, Philipp! 😂
Thanks for sharing Philipp, I'm happy to welcome you in the HR Weekly community! I totally agree, I remember the episode with Daniel Reiser very well, which had similar eye-opening moments for me, along with all the other episodes and guests of course 🙏 😍 Do you have a specific topic for an episode that you would like to learn more about?
Awesome tip, Philipp! Podcasts are such a game-changer for continuous learning. 'HR Weekly' seems packed with valuable content. What's been your favorite takeaway so far?
Recruitment / Employer Branding/ Human Resources 💙 Employee Advocacy/ Team Building
3moRecently I've invested into Udemy platform to upskill storytelling. To motivate myself I did book everyday 30 min in my calendar (in the morning) just to make sure of the consistency. I'm proud of myself for keeping up with my new system. only one day needed to skip this - but overall good score ;P
