If your content cannot get you friends, getting you leads will be difficult. Think about this. (It took me 8years to figure this out) You see, many top writers here have been talking about how to create lead generating contents without telling you the identity behind these leads. Friendship is the identity behind leads. Yes, strangers don't buy, they wait until they're friends. So, as a business owner, are you building friends with your content? If your answer is negative, do this: Avoid sounding salesy in your content. 1. Write to help, not to sell 2. Make your content empathic 3. Speak their language always 4. Go simple, clear and concise 5. Tell your stories, it drives more 6. Do it often, MORE builds friendship It's the relationship between your content and your target audience that influence their chances of buying from you, not just your expertise. BONUS #2 Poor-content writing is a mistake most Founders make online and this costs alot like writing to everyone. Here is my deal: - You write just anything, to show up more. - You post, error authenticity. - You post, error impacts. - Non- directional content. - Poor utility content. BONUS #1 It's quite sad seeing brands and websites create content that doesn't understand their target audience psychological language and still expect them to stay. It doesn't work that way. You have to create your content in a way that will make them love what you do and that's begins with: 1. Authenticity 2. Simplicity 3. Empathy 4. Clarity Whatever you write with these emotional framework stays and digests more.
