Got a visit this morning on my window by this Hercules Moth. A privilege indeed for me to witness one of the "endemic" creatures in PNG on my doorstep. According to Wikipedia, the "Coscinocera hercules, the Hercules moth, is a moth of the family Saturniidae, endemic to New Guinea and northern Australia. The species was first described by William Henry Miskin in 1876".
