Philip Charm’s Post

Wow, the Business Travel Show Europe was action-packed this year! Two key themes caught my attention: - Corporate Travel is transitioning from monolithic to modular solutions. The industry's rapid changes and diverse needs of corporate travel buyers require specialized solutions. Adopting an interoperable and ecosystem-driven approach will soon be essential for success. Organizations embracing this shift have a chance to become trusted partners. - Implementing a Carbon Tax alone poses significant challenges. In discussions with over a dozen organizations, many expressed struggles or failures in implementation. Issues range from stakeholder rejection to ineffective use of funds. Merely applying a carbon tax without materially impacting employee behavior or T&E budgets falls short of addressing sustainable travel goals. #purposefultravel #sustainability

Great insights! The shift towards modular solutions in corporate travel is definitely exciting. Looking forward to seeing how these trends evolve!
