SCOBL Chair Sharon Stern Gerstman shares advice on developing a strong working relationship with your bar’s executive director/CEO: “Get to know each other early. Ideally, build a connection with your executive director before you take office, establishing mutual respect and camaraderie. The two of you have to be on the same page and developing that camaraderie and mutual respect has to have occurred before you take office.”
