The fundamental principles underlying good design are so simple, yet so easily overlooked. No one actually thinks about concepts like Proximity when producing a communication or user experience. It’s more of an instinctual understanding. But if something just isn’t working overall, it can be helpful to step back and ask if there are basic problems with how individual elements are relating to each other. Any presenter or communicator can benefit from the power of good design. Utilizing the fundamentals is so easy, but mastering them is a lifelong pursuit. Hopefully, you find this information useful, or at the very least, interesting. But beware, you may start to see good and bad uses of the Proximity principle all around you. Enjoy your descent into the rabbit hole! 😂 #design #ux #marketing #communication

////CELEBRATE THE USERS As product designers, we constantly explore ways to enhance user experience and engagement. I want to share some thoughts on potential future features that could significantly impact user satisfaction and retention: 1. Milestone Celebrations: Picture a system that not only acknowledges but also celebrates users' first purchases and order milestones (10th, 25th, etc.). This would involve creating custom graphics to provide an interactive, personalized experience. 2. Update Announcements: We're considering a modal to announce significant updates, complete with opt-out options for user convenience. This ensures that users are informed without feeling overwhelmed. 3. Guided Tours: A banner on the homepage could allow users to choose when they want to take a guided tour of new features. This would put control in the users' hands and respect their time and preferences. While these ideas are still conceptual, they represent our commitment to user-centric design. As the saying goes, "We need a better box" - always striving to think outside it while creating a more engaging "in-the-box" experience for our users. What are your thoughts on these potential features? How do you strike the right balance between keeping users informed about updates and respecting their autonomy? #ProductDesign #UserExperience #UX #ProductDevelopment #deisgn #marketing #sales

𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗫 🤔 Ever wondered why your users don't act the way you expect? Your design might be asking for more attention than they can give. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱? Cognitive load happens when there's too much information to take in and understand easily. This makes it hard to process everything in your mind. Too much design can harm user experience by: ❌ Increasing bounce rates ❌ Leading to shallow visits ❌ Raising time per visit without conversions ❌ Reducing overall conversions ❌ Decreasing the number of returning users 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲: ✅ Simplify instructions ✅ Use familiar schemes ✅ Be predictable ✅ Keep copy intuitive and clear #UX #UserExperience #WebDesign #CognitiveLoad #ConversionOptimization #CustomerJourney

To create effective user experiences, designers must carefully consider the number and type of options presented to users.💥 Here are some strategies to avoid the pitfalls of too many choices: ✅Prioritize: Identify the most essential features and functions and focus on providing a clear path to them. ✅Categorize; Group options into logical categories to make them easier to understand and navigate. ✅Progressive disclosure: Gradually reveal options as users progress through the interface, avoiding overwhelming them upfront. ✅Default options: Provide sensible default options to simplify decision-making. By following these principles, designers can create intuitive and enjoyable user experiences that minimize the negative consequences of offering too many choices. #UX #SEM #marketingtips

📊 Measuring the use of the product is great. However, it does not measure the user experiance ✨ of the product. These metrics have nothing experiential in them. You can’t tell if someone is having a great experience or a poor experience. If someone already has an excellent experience with the design you’ve offered, why change it? And if they’re having a poor experience, you’ll need to make it better for them. This focus on product-use metrics is why convincing developers and product managers to take UX seriously is hard. What if you could show the value of your UX effort and inspire your peers? Do you use this class of metrics? #closer2 #staycloser #ux #userexperiance | #marketing #digitalmarketing #digitalstrategy #contentmarketing #socialmediamarketing #richcontent #videomarketing

Which empty state brings more value? · Empty states are the places in the user journey where a user might not have added or generated any content yet. Avoid leaving this place blank — it's a major onboarding opportunity. What kind of information can you fill an empty state with? Educational material — instructions on how to use the product or what the space might look like to a power user. A call to action — for example, "Start adding new photos to your timeline” with a button for uploading or taking photos. Brand-building personality — for example, brand illustrations. The most important thing is that you provide helpful information to users at the right time. This way, well-designed empty states can become a critical part of onboarding. · Check out the full lesson https://bit.ly/3WkAOYt & Follow us for more bite-sized weekly design tips. #ux #ui #designtips
