You don't necessarily have to be different to be successful, though you do have to be consistent, have the right habits in place, learn what works for you, and trim the rest when you know what doesn't. From my experience in guiding leaders and business owners, I've observed that inconsistency is the biggest obstacle to achieving greater impact and desired outcomes. Learning to be consistent, instilling this into everything you do, and supporting your team to do the same will yield a good return on investment. What are you waiting for? If you struggle to get repeatable results and your success is varied, ask yourself this question: What gets in the way of consistency? TIP: Business success is about something other than being consistently busy.

No one cares about what you do. They care about what you can do for them. → A successful business is built on the value you bring to the table. Here’s what you need to focus on: - Streamline your leadership so your team knows exactly what’s expected and feels empowered to deliver. - Set clear business goals and stick to them—don’t get distracted by shiny objects or quick wins. - Build strong relationships with clients and partners that help you grow, not just people who want something from you. - Improve your time management—you need to be working on the business, not in it all the time. - Focus on your mental clarity—if you’re constantly overwhelmed, your business will suffer. At the end of the day, your success is about delivering real, tangible results. PS: I help CEOs achieve 30% more income in 12 months. Let’s talk about how we can make that happen for you.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬? You have done everything by the book. You did all your research, identified your audience, developed your marketing tactics, determined your tone of voice, and even completed a comprehensive competitive market analysis to understand your competitors. You also made sure to develop your vision, mission, company values, and long-term and short-term goals. You developed a project timeline for your ‘must-wins’ in the first six (6) months of operation, and yet still, a year later, your success is stunted. One of the key drivers of business will always be its people. Once your team members believe in your journey, embody your values, cherish your lessons, and appreciate the time you spend with them, success in your business becomes an easier goal. By no measure do I claim any level of success in my endeavors, because for me, there is no definitive end goal, but rather an unknown pathway that carries me forward with several obstacles. My focus is not on getting to the finish line, but rather the rate at which I progress. The obstacles that present themselves are always beyond my own capacity, and I rely heavily on the professionals that work with me to support, encourage, and most importantly, provide feedback. In my experience, I have seen leaders move mountains only through the eagerness of others to act on their behalf with limited directives, complemented by sufficient guidance. Thus, as a business owner, if there is no foreseeable avenue to get your team to be as eager as you, your business success will never be realized. If your team is unhappy, the business will be unhappy. Thus, change management starts at such a micro-level where each exchange between team members can have ripple effects throughout your organization. Focus on the people! The people that make you and can break you, because without their contentment, those documents that boast of explicit strategy automatically become null and void. #BusinessSuccess #Teamwork #Leadership

Simple actions, monumental outcomes. That's the mantra for successful people. So here are 5 things to do to transform your approach in business: Step #1: Keep it Realistic Set achievable goals. Don't overwhelm yourself with impossible tasks. Break them down into manageable steps and plan efficiently. Small victories lead to big successes. Step #2: Get Organized Clear direction and organization are key. Set priorities, allocate time wisely, and deadlines for yourself. It helps to prioritize tasks and stay focused. Plus, when you lead by example, your team will follow suit. Step #3: Building a Team and Learning to Delegate As a leader, build a team. Start small. Team can be virtual as well. Learn to delegate the tasks. Recognize their hard work. Happy employees mean better results – it's that simple! Step #4: Don't Delay Time is precious. Eliminate distractions and focus on what truly matters like your long-term goals. Delaying only hinders progress. Step #5: Stay Up to Date with Trends Keep an eye on market trends, embrace change, and adapt to new technologies. Remember, you cannot walk your talk if you talk about something that's irrelevant. Your progressive journey awaits. Your success awaits. Put these principles to work to turn your vision into reality. Remember, success in business isn't a matter of luck. It's a matter of choice.

Leadership Requires Focus on Two Horizons One of the top challenges of any leader is to know how to allocate time between working in the business (doing the tactical work described on your job description) and working on the business (the strategic planning and thinking about the future). Do you give the people in your business permission to GROW? 🤔 What do I mean by that? Well, once you have communicated your vision, helped people get on board, developed and implemented a people plan to help them develop the skills, behaviours and motivation to contribute – it might be time to get out of the way and let them fly. ✈️ One of the most common problems we encounter in SME businesses is owners' and founders' difficulty in letting go. It is understandable. It was your dream. Your passion. That is what got you here. But now you have shared that dream. Shared that passion. Trust that part of your leadership role is to let others evolve and develop that dream into a shared purpose for your business. Feeling trusted and empowered is one of the biggest motivation factors and will help your people drive your business forward through 2024. 🏎️📈 You could start by letting your people help develop those strategic plans - providing a route for everyone in your business to have their say - AND be heard - and take responsibility for delivering against those plans. Follow up by asking how being involved makes them feel! You might be surprised at the difference it makes. 💗 Give your people permission to contribute and watch your people and your business GROW. 🪴💹😍 What could you do to help your people GROW in 2024?
