Adding features like sprinkles on a donut might sound fun, but it won't always make a better product! As a Product Manager, you can't just keep piling on features like toppings at an ice cream bar. It's crucial to dig into user pain points and needs first, then assess the market impact of those sweet new additions. #ProductManagement #FeatureOverload #UserExperience #MarketImpact #SprinklesOnTop

MVP or No MVP?.... Some argue that MVPs often lead to rushed, subpar products that don’t reflect the full vision or meet user expectations. With users expecting polished experiences right from the start, does releasing an MVP hurt long-term brand perception? On the other hand, the MVP still allows for early testing, iteration, and fail-fast methodologies that are critical to learning quickly in competitive markets. So here's the big question: Is the MVP still relevant in today’s product landscape, or is it time to move towards more complete, feature-rich launches from the beginning?

Product teams often face the challenge of defining their product scope. Are you aiming for an MVP, an MLP, or an MMP? Many end up settling for an MMP, compromising on the user experience to meet deadlines. It's crucial to aim for an MLP – a Minimum Loveable Product – to truly connect with users and drive growth. Funding constraints often hinder product build, emphasizing the need to establish clear goals early on. Is it a test or a full launch? Define your strategy, budget, and timeline accordingly. Every product has three versions: 1. The one you planned (Beautiful. Perfect. Revolutionary.) 2. The one you built (Practical. Shipped. Works mostly.) 3. The one users actually use (Unexpected. Creative. Surprisingly effective.) And somehow users always find a fourth version you never imagined. And that's okay, our job isn't to predict everything. It's to learn from how people actually use our products. What's the biggest gap between how you thought users would use your product vs how they actually use it? #ProductThinking #UserBehavior #ProductLeadership
