We are in Mental Health Awareness Week! There are four main aspects that affect people’s mental health, according to Mental Health America: 1. Current events: 73% of Americans feel overwhelmed by the crisis happening around the world. 2. Loneliness: it increases the risk for developing anxiety and depression, both can have an important impact on lifespan. 3. Technology: constant access to social media can have a negative impact such as reduced self-esteem, depression and burnout. 4. Social drivers: conditions in which we live, work and learn such as education, community and finances. Being aware of them and raising awareness on taking care of ourselves is key. #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealth
