If you are a Web3 founder starting off your project, you need to hear this to stand out from the crowd! 🫸 As of March 2024, there were over 13,217 crypto projects in existence with more than 20 projects being listed every other day on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko That leaves us with a never-dying competition of 1:20 projects every day and you need to have that X-factor apart from your starlight backers, diamond-studded team, or one-in-a-billion idea 💡 Here's what I find most of the idea-stage founders doing wrong and how you can escape the trap: → Use an eye-catchy yet simple name making it easier for the users to remember → Maintain uniformity across all channels for an organic user to find it and avoid additional slang in usernames/titles → Create strong branding thus creating a unique identity for the project itself → Describe your project offering, the problem, and the solution in one single line with appropriate keywords, further use this as a tagline where needed → Lastly, mention your USP as the X-factor This is a very basic ABC rule of branding and positioning used in the Web2 world which works well under certain conditions in Web3 as well Let me know if I missed something and would love to add it here 😇 📩 Keep up with #mehta_and_more for more such #web3 content ✌️

Peek dropped some big updates during Thursday's town hall! 👇 Peek introduced Funki, and covered the P2A points clean-up, and timeline for key milestones. ⚠️ I might get banned from future town halls for these leaks! In addition to Sipher Odyssey, Funki is another flagship product of AtherLabs. Funki offers multiple avenues for a successful $ATHER token launch and boosts its appeal for the upcoming CEX listing. Investors and partners are fully on board with this move. The Global Open Beta for Sipher Odyssey has been postponed from mid-September to early October due to optimization issues and bugs. Right now, everyone capable of fixing bugs is focused on that, while the rest of the team is busy building new content features. Country restrictions for the Global Open Beta will be lifted, and the PC build is expected to launch simultaneously—unless new development issues arise. Sipher Odyssey will be a live service game, not a one-time release. The team is planning content 2–3 months ahead to keep the game fresh. Funki and Sipher Odyssey are the two major highlights for the end of this year. Everything will come together in a big push, including a massive marketing campaign aimed at attracting organic Web2 users, video trailers, partnership announcements, PR articles, Funki, $ATHER token integration, and staking. All these efforts will culminate in the $ATHER Token Generation Event (TGE), complete with airdrops and retrospective airdrops. AtherLabs will also be at Token2049 in Singapore to meet with investors and partners. I’m super bullish on Sipher and excited about Funki’s launch!
