GSK F-268 site visit today organised by Faculty of Pharmacy (AFN), Jinnah University for Women. It was a "Learn with fun" journey for me indeed and there was so much to observe and absorb in a single day. Strict safety protocols were followed to ensure product integrity. I'll enlist what I've observed at GSK firm below: • Emergency protocol • Tablet manufacturing area • QA department • Tooling area • Penicillin manufacturing area • Packaging department • Warehouse (Where raw materials we're kept) • Smart Lab • Japanese Garden (This was something I was completely unfamiliar with respect to pharma companies, and I really appreciated the idea of how the concept of eco-friendly environment has an impact on the surrounding atmosphere of a Pharmaceutical industry). ..... I could write so much more but I'll cut it short here as I do not subject my readers to boredom through my writings. To sum it up: the whole journey was enticing for me!
