Paul van Gerven’s Post

For a country with very little history in battery manufacturing, the Netherlands has a remarkable number of companies looking to either develop new battery technology or to improve existing technology/components. I want to compile a list of all of them. So far, I have found: - Silicon anodes: E-magy, LeydenJar - Atomic layer deposition: SALD BV, SparkNano, Kalpana Systems, Powall - 3D solid state batteries: LionVolt B.V. - Integrated battery/electrolyser: Battolyser Systems - Flow battery: Elestor B.V., AQUABATTERY - Thermal battery: Cellcius - Batteries based on abundant, low-cost materials: Exergy Storage - Iron-air battery: Ore Energy Which ones did I miss? (Just to clarify, I am not including companies assembling modules or selling systems. Deep-tech firms with a strong R&D component only!) Thanks in advance! #batteries #energystorage
