MWC - Has it lost its sparkle ! My visit to MWC this year was a little disappointing after 20 years of attending! It's alway great to see the latest innovative technology available, companies demonstrating future market opportunities to grow the mobile industry. However, the lack of attentiveness on the stands was very disappointing from a sales prospective. The first impression walking onto many stands or waiting by booths in halls 1-7 was individuals more interested in staring at their mobile phones than speaking to prospective customers! I found myself having to interrupt an individual staring at their mobile, they in turn might disturb another staring into the void whilst eating! Where has the energy and excitement gone in talking to people? Companies pay vast sums of money to exhibit at MWC!! If everyone had copious about of business falling from the sky, why attend!! Perhaps I'm a grumpy old man used to the old school ways of conducting business, by that I mean smiling and creating conversations with interesting people. so glad you said it! they should engage more. Blonds with candies isn´t enough at these booths. We need humans, not old men on their mobile like genzs ignoring us as we walk by.

9moToo much COVID isolation and a new generation perhaps is the reason why. In many industries I have seen the service level decline. So sad to see they forgot what a customer is.
