Digital economic (DE) transformation has been Africa's agenda for close to a decade. Tracking the gains made by governments in the customization and implementation of Africa's digital economic blue-print is as critical as tracking the stock market. This is because the future of global economies are headed towards digitization and many business models have began the shift from physical to digital strategies to connect with today's markets and customers. In Kenya, the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in close collaboration with Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) among other partners are at the forefront tracking Kenya's DE transformation, with a keen eye on MSME agility to adopt digital technologies that can translate into meaningful business models. Additionally, CIPE, KEPSA and, other stakeholders including private sector businesses are tracking the policy and regulatory environment and pushing for a conducive digital business climate that should be the foundation that creates an enabling business environment for a Kenyan digital economy to not only thrive but to also plug into international and global digital economies. ClerkMaster Consulting is happy to be the foot-soldiers tracking progress made by the government of Kenya in its pledge to implement the Kenya Digital Master Plan 2022-2032.
