"Build it Before You Need it" I've said this so many times. It's tempting to let the existing network you have, be your only avenue of pipeline. But eventually, without other channels, that's probably going to dry up. And because you're still figuring out messaging, brand, USPs, website, offerings, pricing... a lot of those 'hot leads' won't convert, even though you're friends, or previous colleagues. Then what? It's no good knocking on our door asking for help with generating pipeline in a rush... video marketing (and most marketing that's worth doing well, for that matter) takes TIME. the best time to plant an orchard, was 20 years ago. But.... the second best time is NOW. You HAVE to force yourself to do the long term work as well as the things that drive short term results. You'll thank me in the end.
