Post 18/20 The Paradoxical Playground 👀🌌 The Looking Paradox 🌌👀 ✨ Sometimes the best things find you when you stop hunting for them. ✨ Ever notice how keys, inspiration, and even love seem to pop up right when you finally give up the frantic search? 2 weeks elk hunting in the national forest of Idaho with “Think & Grow Rich” like I do every elk hunt…here’s my take aways this time - I’m going to start reading the story of Napoleon Hill’s son overcoming deafness to my kids once a month (page 37) - Julie and I have discussed in detail why Kings in old times had many wives and concubines, and when and why that changed But the truth is, there is INCREDIBLE value in keeping that place for ONLY her…let me explain. Biologically, men are polygamous. Ladies, I know that’s hard to understand, just look at nature. I mean, I just chased screaming bull elk over mountains as they fought each other trying to breed as many cows as they could BUT…humans were given another level of “think” from the Creator of heaven and earth. We have the ability to CHOOSE. Why is that powerful when it comes to one wife, one sexual partner? Because, when I chose Julie…ONLY…the depth we can go to far surpasses that of multiple wives and concubines. It’s the depth we can know each other, honor each other and love each other. Of course this takes immense work, especially if you want it to be more incredible EVERY YEAR! But I believe that’s what you said yes to, when you chose your spouse. Depth, a forever exploration of who that person is and how together you become who God made you. I can’t become the same version of Chaz with many shallow relationships, but when I FOCUS on the one beautiful bride in front of me, there’s power unlocked that I wouldn’t otherwise have access to. And if you follow success principles at all, you know success requires power. Power is simply the combined effort and knowledge of 2 or more, working in harmony to a definite end. Pause today…look at your spouse. Choose them again. Choose to go deep. Choose to go after the power only they can unlock in you 👑

How the Turtle Went to War (also Turtle Goes to War ) is a Native American legend commonly associated with the Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Sioux nations, but the narrative also appears in the stories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy, and others. It is among the most popular Native American tales and is often anthologized. North American Box Turtle RyGuy17 (CC BY-NC-SA) The details of the story differ, but all involve the Chief of the Turtles (Turtle Chief or Chief Turtle) declaring war on a nearby Native American village and the ensuing battle. The reason for the war is sometimes given as a response to the people overhunting and not respecting the turtle, though, in some versions, no reason is given at all. The Sioux version of the story, according to scholar Bobby Lake-Thom, gives the reason as: The Indians had been greedy and killed more turtles than they could eat whenever they got lazy and tired of hunting. This made the Turtle Chief very angry. (156) The version known as Turtle Goes to War claims that the turtles "had received many insults from men" and finally resolved to do something about it (AAANativeArts.com, 1). This version is also an origin tale explaining how Snapping Turtle and Box Turtle fell out during the campaign, and this is why these two types of turtles are never found in the same area. The events of the story are understood to have occurred in the distant past, before people recognized the spiritual power of the turtle and, perhaps, explain how they came to do so. #Sioux #Cheyenne #History #WHE

You know what makes you a great cat paw-rent? Well, a bunch of things, but one of them is your curiosity. You go above and beyond to understand your cat so that you can give them a better life. We figured you might like to see the answers to some FAQs we get about cats and why they do the things they do. ❓ Why do cats purr? Lots of reasons! They’re content, hungry, want something, or they purr for connection or self-soothing. ❓ Why do cats knead? To show comfort, contentment, or to calm themselves when needed. ❓ Why does my cat lick me? To show affection. Kitty kisses! ❓ Why do cats meow? To talk to you! But really… to communicate when they need something, if something is wrong, or just to say, “Hi! I missed you.” ❓ Why do cats sleep so much? It all goes back to their instinctual need to conserve energy for hunting. They are most active at night, which is why they would’ve hunted, but now… they just visit the food bowl. There you have it! Which answer was most interesting to you? What he discovered was truly extraordinary. Every day, a leopard would visit his cow, and the two would share a tender moment of affection. The leopard would lick the cow, and the cow would lovingly nuzzle it. It turns out, this leopard had lost its mother at just 20 days old. The cow, acting on maternal instinct, had taken the leopard in and raised it as her own. The leopard, now grown, continues to visit the cow daily, a testament to their enduring bond. This heartwarming tale reminds us that kindness and compassion can transcend species boundaries. It's a beautiful reminder that even the most unlikely friendships can be filled with love and loyalty." Moral Lessons: 1.
