Kinda dusty in here! Beautiful moment as Brazilian legend Marta shows wonderful humility in a pass the torch moment with Jamaican star and captain Bunny Shaw. Moments after Brazil were eliminated by Jamaica, their 6-time World Cup legend's career came to a close but she still had the class to hug Shaw and offer some advice and support. Marta is a magical trailblazer who holds the World Cup record with 17 goals and was the first household name in women's football - she ends her career with a gesture of respect despite the shock of elimination and the fact that her amazing career will not have a fairytale ending. Champions show their true colours in defeat and Marta gives a beautiful lesson in how to end things with grace and dignity and true leadership. Love Shaw's humility in the moment and you don't need to hear what they said to know that Shaw was letting Marta know what an inspiration she has been. Jamaica's Reggae Girlz were forced to crowdfund to get their team to the World Cup and now they have qualified without conceding a goal. This World Cup just keeps on giving! #Marta 🇧🇷 🐐 #Bunny 🇯🇲 #NuffRespect #AllClass

This shows TRUE sportsmanship!!! Thanks for posting Patrick Skene!!!

Yep, beats dejected players drowning in their own tears so much, that they forget to shake the hands of victorious opposition players. Marta, however, deserved better from her teammates who were playing like individuals during the FIFA women's world cup, trying to catch the eye of lucrative pro club talent scouts. It's great for soccer to see the less-favoured nations upset the chosen ones. That's what makes this tournament a humdinger.

Beautiful moments! Amazing presence in both, and (without knowing or needing to know what was said) Marta’s fierce encouragement back to Shaw was electrifying.
