The first 6 months have just been completed with Waterford Fc academy in what seems like a blink of an eye. People say HWPO(Hard work pays off ) well this lad epitomised hard work and the rewards they bring . Rian was not in any COE( centre of excellence)was not a regular in a development squad but that only spurred him on even more . Rian has an incredible personality and to see him blend and mix with new friends uniting teammates was brilliant to watch . To say he has excelled and flourished is an understatement . The level of training he and his teammates receive ( special mension to Craig Shead ) is elite. The facilities at SETU Arena are elite . If your child has a dream , let them dream big .Rian is 13 and playing soccer at elite level in Ireland . He is not bad at the national sports either . Well done to all the new 2011 boys on their fantastic progress to date. Looking forward to what 2025 will bring
