The TryHackMe Attacktive Directory lab provided important skills for attacking and exploiting Windows Active Directory environments. This lab offers Penetration testers knowledge of testing and securing environments through reconnaissance, enumeration, and exploitation techniques. The lab provides experience in common attack vectors such as password spraying, pass-the-hash, pass-the-ticket, and other typical Active Directory attacks. Some of the tools used in this module to attack Active Directory environments were nmap, ldapsearch, BloodHound, and CrackMapExec. Privilege escalation was achieved through escalating privileges, moving laterally across the network, and achieving domain admin access. The Attacktive Directory lab builds critical skills in assessing and defending Active Directory systems.
