ICI Bucharest participates in the eighth edition of the Black Sea Cybersecurity Conference, which takes place between June 17-19, 2024, in Constanța. This event, hosted by the Maritime Cyber Security Center of Excellence (MARCYSCOE) within the Constanta Maritime University , brings together experts, decision-makers, industry leaders and academics to discuss critical developments in cyber security under the theme "Cybersecurity Synergies in of the Digitized World". ICI Bucharest is represented by panellists at the sessions "The Role of Public-Private Partnerships in Cybersecurity" and "The EU's Response to Evolving Cyber Threats in the Digital Era". Today the collaboration between the private sector and government sector not an option anymore when it comes to cybersecurity, we have to join forces in order to fight agaist cybercriminals in order to have safer world I believe the MENA region, with its rapid digital transformation, presents both huge opportunities and unique challenges in cybersecurity. Events like MENAICT 2024 are essential in fostering discussions, sharing knowledge, and preparing for what lies ahead. On Friday, April 19, 2024, and Monday, April 22, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in two sessions of the Bucharest Leaders' Summit, an event organized by the Department for Sustainable Development (Dezvoltare Durabilă), Media Group MediaUno and the National Institute of Statistics - Romania. We were pleased to participate in the 2024 conference Information Security: Trust in People and Technology. 💻🌐🛡️ At the roundtable discussion Cyber Resilience as the Foundation of Future Business in the Digital Era, Vida Dolenc Pogačnik, our COO & International Cooperation Director, participated as moderator, and Ajša Vodnik, CEO of AmCham Slovenia, joined as a guest speaker. The discussion addressed several key challenges in the field of cybersecurity. A recent major cyber incident at the University of Maribor was highlighted, underscoring the need for cyber resilience and preparedness against such threats.
