Why so few young people are interested in entering the profession. 3. What *you* can personally do to change those dangerous long-term dynamics. For those with me in the #EdTech community, countless products and services tout “saving teachers time” as a benefit. That’s not differentiating and the meaningfulness of that basic promise gets undercut when teachers are all but assured that their institutions will use those productivity gains to saddle them with heavier workloads. The promises we in industry make have to run deeper and be rooted in real respect.
