Building a World for Everyone: The Power of Inclusive Design 🌍 Every step, every doorway, every space matters. Inclusive design isn't just about accessibility—it's about creating a world where everyone belongs. Here's why it matters: 🔑 Equal Access: Ensuring spaces and services welcome all, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities 💪 Independence: Enabling everyone to participate confidently in everyday activities 🤝 Universal Rights: Embracing all people, regardless of disability or medical needs 🤔 What about your city? Have you noticed innovative inclusive design features in your neighborhood, or are there spaces that could use improvement? Share your observations below! Not bad ... But with all that effort, why wasn't the platform levelled with the entry point, as it is with the exit into the shop? What is the point of changing anything, if we're not going to do it "properly"?
Given this video is significantly sped up, I’d like to see how fast the operation is at normal speed. If it’s the sole entrance point to the store, I’d argue it’s likely this is not inclusive at all but rather an inconvenience to the vast majority of customers when the operation is triggered. It probably takes a full minute to provide access to one wheelchair user, preventing access to potentially 20 or more able-bodied customers. Also not practical in terms of urgent access/exit, emergency services use, and ongoing maintenance costs. This is not smart accessible design if it’s the only doorway, and I guarantee it won’t even work half the time.
PASCAL dearest friend ,INNOVATION are 👌 , AI has come long way But CANNOT ,WILL NOT VANQUISH HUMAN INTELLIGENCE MEMORY CONTROL AI ,always with your EXCELLENT GREY MATTER and IQ always forever ❤️ Don't LOSE CONTROL ALL I beg you , U PASCAL are the BOSS to ALWAYS CONTROL AI. Don't let the CONTROL to AI ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE YOU too will be CONFUSED, conquered by ROBOTS ,MACHINES ,DRONES and we will end up like 👍 DEAD dunes DUNES ,sand DUNES
I have to say this is high tech, but I would be concerned about whether such stairs are a safety hazard, just like the elevator we ride in.
Suitable for buses public transport heavy vehicles or to leg handicapped. But mostly over technology due to lack of physical mental health maintenance. As a result technology going to replace every immensely. In general such small things not necessary everywhere except in African, Indonesian, few Asian countries and specifically in some regions, areas, forest officers guest rooms tourist spots in such places because they built height by laying long bamboo sticks due to floods, saving from wild animals etc

At first glance it is great. But I would not have put it as a single main stairs. A normal stair besides one of these would have been better. Also consider the hazard if it gets stuck at the bottom if you walk out the door without looking down. Too many humans are stuck on habits and do not see the surrounding or think much ahead.
I’ve seen some cities introduce textured sidewalks and accessible playgrounds, which is inspiring. 😃

1dFor this particular entrance, I don't see the point - there are more logical solutions, but for some other building/platform it would be very appropriate. How does it even regulate itself? Does it move actively all the time?
